Fatemeh Nazardokht participated in a competition held in Egypt that revolved around George Bahgoury, widely recognized as the grandfather of Egyptian caricature. To enhance her entry, she chose to draw inspiration from one of Bahgoury’s paintings, which featured Umm Kulthum, the iconic Arab female singer, as the central figure. In her artwork, Nazardokht skillfully portrayed the artist himself and his painting in an embracing pose, capturing the essence of their creative synergy.
